What causes and cures reflux

The diaphragm is our main inspiratory muscle – but also a buffer against reflux.

When it is not working properly, it can:

  • weaken the lower esophageal sphincter

  • increase intra-abdominal pressure

  • worsen digestion

  • contribute to the development of a diaphragmatic hernia

✅ Proper activation and relaxation of the diaphragm = less reflux, better digestion, calmer mind.
